Full Room Remodel

Take the Kitchen out of the BOX!

This was a full room remodel. The walls surrounding the kitchen were removed and kitchen re-modeled for an open-concept floor plan. A large island takes the place of walls as a room divider creating opening site-lines and a larger feeling room. We did the demo removing walls and drop ceiling in the kitchen. Installed the cabinetry including a raised base for higher than standard counter height. Created and installed custom backsplash, installed wall and floor tile. Laid engineered hardwood flooring, painted walls and ceiling and refinished the balustrade. Wall tile in the kitchen will eventually go to the ceiling once floating shelves have been installed.

Island Facelift

Unifying the kitchen with a island facelift

This builder grade island with its textured drywall just didn’t pull this kitchen together. Cladding it in a shaker style with bead-board inserts to match the kitchen cabinets unified this space.

Bathroom Refresh

Water-proofing, new shower panels and some large format tile gave this old, tired shower a well deserved update.

This early 20th century home was split into units. This add-on bathroom was wedged into a corner of the kitchen. The back panels of the shower needed to be replaced. We recommended the 11 degree angled corner between the shower pan and wall be closed-up. This corner was trapping water from the shower damaging the floor and susceptible to mold and mildew build-up.

We removed old paneling, build the small angled wall, to keep the water out of this odd corner. Water-proofing, new shower panels and some large format tile gave this old, tired shower a well deserved update.

Bathroom Reconstruction

Newly built construction but the homeowner wanted a zero entry shower rather than the free-standing tub and show stall combination. We constructed a new pony-wall and back-wall to create the new shower stall. When we started this project we were assured the floor joist would support the new configuration (running perpendicular) This was not the case. We discovered two engineered I-beams running parallel. The shower floor had to be re-engineered and constructed prior to installing the shower pan. Problem Solved! We installed the shower pan and installed the dura-rock. We were not hired to install the tile.

Re-Caulking

Is the caulking in your bathroom starting to look a little shabby?

We Fix It.

We don’t just smear a new line of caulk over the old.
After all, it says right on the tube “Remove old caulking”

We remove the old caulk, treat any mold and mildew, then add a fresh bead of caulking to keep things water-tight.
